On October 10, 2024 President of the Cuban Academy of Sciences prof. Luis Velazquez Perez, together with the Ambassador of Cuba Marieta Garcia Jordan and Roberto Vizcaino Martinez - First Secretary at the Embassy, visited the Institute of Neurobiology - BAS
During the visit, the Director of the Institute of Neurobiology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stamboliyeva and the heads of the research areas presented the research topics being developed at INB and specific research developments of the individual research areas and program teams. The guests visited one of the laboratories of the "Cognitive Psychophysiology" field and met with the team developing scientific issues in the field of cognitive-motor coordination. Prof. Perez introduced the team to the scientific research of their team in this scientific field and opportunities for future collaboration were discussed.
